Amanda Measer is a Western New York native who earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University at Buffalo, along with her Initial Certification and Master’s degree in Art Education from Nazareth University. She currently teaches high school art in Pittsford, New York, where she inspires students while continuing to cultivate her own artistic practice.
Amanda creates whimsical artwork designed to bring joy and warmth into people’s homes. Her passion for landscape imagery began during her undergraduate studies and has remained a constant influence in her work. She specializes in mixed media paintings, often incorporating maps as layered surfaces that add both texture and storytelling to her pieces.
In addition to her landscape work, Amanda enjoys painting homes and dogs, capturing subjects that hold personal meaning and connection. Recently, she has been exploring painted paper collage, embracing new materials and techniques. Amanda is deeply committed to creativity and strives to engage in artistic expression every single day.
